We got an email today from our agency with an update on their DRC (Democratic Republic of Congo) program. They shared the tireless work they are doing to find forever families for as many kids as they can. I know that there are a good number of DRC families reading this blog. This post is especially for you.
Our agency, Wasatch International, has a handful of HIV negative kids ready to be matched with families with completed home studies. Maybe one of these children is yours. They might not fit into your age or gender request, but I pray you will take a look.
These children and ready and waiting. Waiting for a mommy and daddy to comfort them when they have a bad dream. Waiting for a mommy and daddy to play pat-a-cake with. Waiting for their prayers for a family to be answered. Waiting.

Aren’t they all so beautiful? I can’t help but notice that they look a little sad. How heartbreaking to see. Many of us can’t fathom the loss they all have lived. But we can all help to make a difference for them. Simply by praying you can make a difference in their lives.
I can’t say enough wonderful things about our agency and the work they are doing. We were introduced to them from both our home study agency and others on the DRC forum. We have spoken with several families who brought their children home last summer with their help. Everyone has had great things to say! If you would like more information about one of these children contact Cyndi Peck at Cyndi(at)wiaa(dot)org. If you would like to know anything about our experience with Wasatch you can email us at nothinglefttopaint(at)gmail(dot)com.
Let’s bring these kids home.
If you are reading and aren’t in the position to adopt, could you pray that these children (and the 147 million others) find the love of a family that they all deserve?
